LAUREL

vocal artist/voice educator

Designer

My background in design comes from costume design, specializing in operatic productions. At Oregon State University, I studied both apparel design and vocal performance and would often design for shows that I was also singing in.

Lately, I have extended my design experience to creating educational handouts, web page design, and promotional materials for my website www.voicescienceworks.org.

educational materials

I regularly design printed and web materials to help translate complex topics from the world of voice science into digestible, visually clarifying explanations. The intended audience is voice instructors, choral instructors and singers who wish to have more straight forward access to recent (and often confusing) research on the voice. These materials are used in workshops, college visits, and available with free access through my website www.voicescienceworks.org.

web design and publications

Through platforms like Weebly, Wix and MotoMS I have created and maintained several unique and inviting websites that attract upwards of 20,000 visitors a week, including

www.voicescienceworks.org

www.slashes.org
